Xorros Program

Representation of the use of the main square of the village of Polop by the senior age, distinguishing between those that spend their days working in the field, in their gardens, of which remain in the place or the people walking and above all pointing in that time, when arriving daily 12:00 two tour buses from Benidorm with senior citizens, people in passing tourists.
The use've given me, as small change was the meeting point with my friends to play and spend evenings to what has now become a place where time and occasionally remain more than 10 minutes.
Finally the use that could be given a refugee who could work in the morning in one of the stores that are in the square and in the evenings fill their jugs of water as all polopinos.

ASSIGNMENT IV, REFUGEE ON THE BEACH

Field visits

First sketches

Final result

My idea of the structure on the beah was a kind of private space that separates the refugee from the outside, making his own place.

The structure simulates a wave and it has three leves. The first one it is a big platform over the water (water comes under the platform when the tide comes in, and it makes a natural pool), this fisrt space is the living space. Then you go to the second platform, using the stairs, where you have the necessary things for clothes, such as shelves or ropes. At the last level, you have the place for relaxing and resting. It has a bed and pillows to make it confortable.

The structure is placed looking towards the east, where the sun comes out, and to hardness sunlight, there are some windows around the wall. It also has a small entrance on the west side.
