6H DRAWING

 What I want to do is a place where you can have your own private space and the public one, building it taking into acount the weather conditions in Alicante.

ASSIGNMENT IX, 6 HOURS WORKING

I chose the assignment IV, Refugee on the beach.

What I want to do is to make a conection between the ecosystem of the area and the structure of the building. Make myself think about what could be the structure which fits better, without cause visual impact.

PHYSICAL MODELS

DETAIL MODEL

 With this model, I wanted to represent the protection of the refugees in my projects, using cheap and colourful materials.

STRUCTURAL MODEL

 With this model I wanted to represent the structure of snail, which evokes protection and security, that is obtained thanks to the structure in high place.

MATERIAL MODEL

Finally, this model tries to represent the memories of the refugees, and I have project a window with different colours that remain happiness and some photos, and when light affects on this one, it illuminates the whole room, creating shades with the silhouettes of the photos.

PHYSICAL MODELS

STRUCTURE

In this model I tried to represent private and public space interlinked. We can see the grey cable representing the privates zones and the white one representing the common zones. Depending on the lighting this different spaces and the program change.

MATERIALS

In this model I have used wood and thread representing the importance of the re-used materials in all of my projects. There are three pillars, that are my three main ways of projecting, and a tour between them, that represents the development of my projects.

DETAIL

This model is a detail of how I project, using little things and building a big one from them. 

I have used soft materials because it is easier to adapt it depending on the conditions and the needs, and this form because with them you can create differents spaces.

PHYSICAL MODELS

These are experimental models that start from an idea and that idea or several working without clear outcome or watching a big change from what is expected.

This model seeks to evoke feelings of despair, it's intended to Ulises but sometimes is applicable to myself. The need to tie our despair at times to rationality in order to progress and move forward.

This one I tried to capture the feeling of Ulises, the pressure you feel in his role. that craving to find, that need, the feeling that every minute counts.

Which might seem a forest is an attempt to represent by such as fluffy soft forms the idea of comfort, close and friendly to the refugee material while maintaining the shape is of growing up to enhance comfort idea of the initial model where the ground floor is where you work for something that hopefully would not have to search and change in the highest part is the "rest of mind"

The elongated model refers to urban model, a model of large-scale intend to represent those fissures where on earth such as buildings turn these great upheavals and relationships that must be met with each other and also the spaces that are not buildings but necessary. 

The last one is the representation of the idea of solving the structural supports for the refugee I didid inmy room, the idea made model is the possibility of folding brackets to provide more space even for Ulises daily work. Thanks to the possibility of collecting the bed frame.

ASSIGNMENT VIII, PHYSICAL MODELS

#Structure

This is the structural model where I tried to represent how the conections of people, such as relationships or just the places that they have in common (If we connect them propertly) can make a rigid construction.

#Material

In this model I represent the materials I used on the third assignment (refugee's room). We can say that they are a kind of recycled materials, you can find them everywhere. What I tried to do,it was to show that we can create something with things we have at home.

#Detail

Last one model, is the detail model. I wanted to play with colours and ligths, as I did on the party in the room (the second assignment). Also the structure of the model, makes the possibility to work with wind.
